Abstract
A novel antenna design for an M-band UWB antenna to be realized in LTCC technology is presented. The antenna concept is based on slot-fed stacked patches, while antenna feeding is done differentially via two pins. LTCC technology provides extra constrains on the antenna design. Based on simulation the proposed antenna has an operational bandwidth between 55.4 GHz to 68.2 GHz with a gain of around 4 to 5 dBi and a front-to-back ratio of 12.2 dB.
