Abstract :
This paper introduces a new Unitary ESPRIT-based algorithm for multisource direction finding with sparse array formed from hexagonal subrrays. Two scale - based disambiguation procedure is used to resolve ambiguities arising in the process of two-dimensional (2D) angle estimation. A comparison of proposed estimator to the 2-D Unitary ESPRIT algorithm used together with a uniform rectangular array is presented.
