Abstract :
With the progress in science and technology, the modernization manufacturing process have become increasingly demanding in CNC. In this paper, it has chosen permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) and digital signal processor (DSP) to design the servo control system for Open-CNC. Based on the analysis of the Open-CNC structure, movement principle, fundamental theories of vector control, it has built the PMSM vector control module in MATLAB, and introduces the control principle in detail. In addition, a new and high-efficiency DSP developing flow is introduced. The flow realizes the auto -generation of DSP code with the use of MATLAB, Simulink, real-time workshop, DSP and TI´s development environment-CCS. It realizes the integration from design to implementing, and shortens the developing period greatly. The PMSM control system designed using this flow now has worked well on the TMS320F2812EVM. At last, it gives the communications circuits between PC and DSP.
