Abstract :
Method for 3D dynamic finite element analysis of electromagnetic problems involving movement was presented, in which the external circuits, nonlinear magnetic properties, eddy-current effects and movement are taken into account. In the method, the problem of voltage excitation problem was solved by the field-circuit directly coupled technique, and the 3D electromagnetic torque was calculated through nodal force method, besides, the moving boundary is handled by the interpolation movement interface method. To testify the validity of the method, a test model which is suitable to analyze 3D electromagnetic field-circuit-motion coupled problem has been made. Through application the advantages of the method was demonstrated.
