Abstract
The magnetic field is one of the basic research tools in experimental physics. This paper is a comprehensive study on the analysis, design and optimization of pulsed magnets. The emphasis is focused on the calculation of the distribution of the temperature and stress field in magnets. And for the problem caused by, a solution of it is designed. Based on the research above all, numerical simulations for pulsed magnets with different wires and different material reinforcement are done by the commercial finite element software ANSYS. And the results obtained by ANSYS show good agreements with the experimental data in the calculation of magnetic field and stress.
