Abstract
In order to improve the performance of three phase voltage source PWM rectifiers, this paper presents a passivity-based control (PBC) strategy based on port-controlled Hamiltonian with dissipation (PCHD) model established from the rectifierspsila power circuit. With the model, a passivity-based controller for PWM rectifiers is designed by using Inter-connection and Damping Assignment passivity-based control (IDA-PBC) method. This controller can stabilize the minimum of the systempsilas storage function at the desired equilibrium point determined by unity power factor and sinusoidal current on the AC side, and constant output voltage on the DC side. So the stable state performance and robustness against the loadpsilas disturbance of PWM rectifiers are both improved. The results of simulation show feasibility of this strategy.
