Abstract :
A newly control strategy for brushless dc motor drives is present. The three-dimensional X-Y-Z coordinate is adopted, and the off-phase axis is put on the Z axis, while the axis of two excited-phases on the XY plane. Compared with the complicated three dimensional locus of voltage vector and flux-linkage vector, their projections on XY plane are more concise. The projections of voltage vector are used to control the projections of flux-linkage vector, the sensorless control are achieved with the torque response in 0.1 ms.
