Abstract :
The paper analyzed the generating process of second-harmonic DC-link voltage and the influence of beat phenomenon on traction motor in the single-phase three-level converter-inverter traction system of high-speed EMUs. Based on the research of operation modes of traction inverter, the beat-less control technology was given, and different control strategies under multi-pulse modulation and single-pulse control mode were presented. The beat-less control algorithm was proved to be effective by MATLAB simulation and DSP-based control experiment system.
