Abstract
During the development of a high power DC-DC converter for a fuel cell vehicle (FCV), we found that the current spikes through the switch devices are too high to gain the high power. On the compact demand of the FCV, the only way is to alter the parameters of components inside the box. The distributed capacitance and inductance of the transformer were adjusted by changing the winding way, the current spikes were decreased clearly and a well performance of the DC-DC converter under high power conditions was achieved.
