Abstract :
This paper introduces the research on the noumenal design of permanent magnetic servo synchronous motor. By the combination of field with circuit, a procedure is compiled for magnetic-circuit calculating, and we calculate the parameters which have great influence on the operating characteristics by applying ANSYS. We also make a multi-goal optimization design of PM usage and fabricating cost. A model machine is also made in this foundation. The experiment result indicates that calculated values are tally closely with experimental values. Furthermore, we improve the structure by cutting holes on the rotor. Test results show that the holes could help to reduce the moment of inertia, and at the same time have little influence on the electromagnetic performance.
