Abstract
PWM control and one pulse control methods are useful in SPSRM(single phase switched reluctance motor). PWM method has safety for the low speed range to control SRM. And one pulse control method is proper to operate on high speed range in SRM for good energy efficiency and a considering switch frequency. Because PWM method is more safety than one pulse method, conversion of those is best choice according speed ranges [1]. But the level of inductance profile is actually different according magnitude of current. So I present specified algorithm that is demanded for smooth conversion for speed control. So nonlinear inductance profile must be considered [2][3][4]. This paper presents the method for conversion that satisfies the conversion of control mode between PWM and one pulse method smoothly considering nonlinear inductance parameter.
