  • Abstract
    Control characteristics of permanent magnet synchronous linear motors was improved by studying measures to reduce the thrust ripple.The thrust ripple mechanism is analyzed for PMLSM, and the key factor is the sine wave shape of the back EMF. Further the efficiency measures to achieving sine wave shape of back EMF is introduced, this can reduce force ripple: the method choose pole-arc coefficient and fraction slot or distributing winding design in reason, and the experiment validate theory result.
