Abstract :
The electro-rheological (ER) technology is as a novel frontier science with so many superior advantages and applications which has been given much attention to all over the world. The requirements for ER fluidpsilas substitution to traditional hydraulic oil are brought forward based on theory of ER effect and principle of engineering application. The control equation of ER valve is derived, and model of ER valve-cylinder actuator is constructed. A position control system based on ER valve-bridge actuator is simulated, and the performance of a hydraulic bridge circuit using for electro-rheological valves is analyzed. The simulation results show that the system has good dynamic performance.
