Abstract
In order to overcome the poor adaptability of conventional PID control method which over depend on precise mathematical model of the control object, a kind of control algorithm called single neutral element self-adaptive PID control is designed. The controller can modulate PID parameters on-line and dynamically optimize them what conventional PID controller cannot live up to. It can improve the control robust and self-adaptive of the system. The controlling effect is perfect by using the single neutral element self-adaptive PID controller to SVC nonlinear system. Experimental results indicate the superiority of the control algorithm
