Abstract
The skin electrical properties are identified using a standard neuromuscular electrical stimulation voltage pulse. The three component series equivalent electrical model was chosen to account for the skin electrical properties. A mathematical model for the current was computed. The values of each of the three electrical components of the equivalent electrical model were identified using the values of the measured voltage and current and the previously computed mathematical model of the current. A high correlation coefficient was found between the measured and the modelled current.
