Abstract :
Boundary estimation in a sensor network is of primary interest in both sensor network construction and applications. By using only cluster-based communication graph topology, rather than location, angular or distance information, we propose a simple, distributed method to estimate boundary nodes in a sensor network. The performance of our method is evaluated through theoretical analysis and simulation experiments.
