Abstract
The paper presents the development of a low-sidelobe, circularly-polarized microstrip array for 2.45 GHz RFID reader applications. With a simple geometry, the antenna is of both good impedance and radiation characteristics. The measured results show that the array has a Chebyshev pattern with the sidelobe level of -23 dB and an impedance bandwidth (VSWRles2) of 130 MHz. All these make the array suitable for RFID reader applications.
