Abstract :
An estimator based on expectation maximization (EM) method is presented to jointly estimate carrier frequency offset (CFO) and channel of every antenna of each user in the uplink MIMO OFDMA systems. The proposed method has a very low computational complexity by transforming a multidimensional maximization problem into some smaller one dimensional maximization problems. Simulation results show that the algorithm achieves good performance in estimation accuracy.
