Abstract :
A near field passive localization method based on improved weighted subspace fitting (IWSF) algorithm was presented. Unlike the way in Viberg´s paper, bearing and range parameters are estimated by alternative Gauss-Newton iteration in our proposed method. Simulation results proved its effectiveness, and the performance comparison with Viberg´s method is given.
