Abstract :
This paper summarizes the computer based energy management. The concepts on which energy management is based are given including its required features. The energy management structure is identified as a multi-level system. The information communication including the functions performed in each level are given. The implementation of energy management including the steps and economics are briefly described. Finally, a typical hardware description of a currently available energy management system is shown.
