Abstract :
Recently there has been an increasing amount of interest in the development of satisfactory methods for controlling large scale complex systems. This paper attempts to address the characteristic difficulties in trying to solve this complex problem. The difficulties and drawbacks of a Large Scale System (LSS) centralized approach are identified. Due to these inherent problems, it is necessary that studies be made based on approaches other than centralized. This paper introduces the decomposition-decentralization approach. Other approaches are identified and briefly discussed.
