Abstract
The recently proposed Paralleled QR algorithm and the Hyman algorithm represent the direct pole assignment and the direct characteristic polynomial assignment approaches respectively, based on Hessenberg form system matrix. These two algorithms and a modified version of Hyman algorithm are compared using an example. The result of the modified Hyman algorithm compares favorably with that of the other two algorithms.
