Title :
A Programming Language for Real-Time Automotive Control Applications
Author_Institution :

Abstract :
A high level programming language is described which has been explicitly designed for automotive engine control applications. We have implemented a two pass compiler for this language which produces code for the Intel 8061 microprocessor and symbolic debuggers for both the host and target environments. The language has been used for several projects including an engine control program which had previously been written in assembly language, against which its efficiency is compared.
