Abstract :
The dynamic and steady state interactions of single input, single output controls can be predicted through a set point perturbation analysis. The analysis is based on set point control theory and leads naturally to Bristol´s relative gain analysis at steady state. The utility of this technique is demonstrated through applications to several industrial examples.
