Abstract :
For a single input single output linear time invariant system of order n a compensator of order n-1 suffices to place the closed loop system eigenvalues arbitrary. In this paper we give an iterative algorithm to choose the closed loop system eigenvalue set so that the closed loop system remains stable under a given class of structured parameter perturbations of the plant. Numerical examples of the design procedure are included.
