Abstract
This paper addresses the aspect of the control of uncertain linear systems based on the theory of ultimate boundedness. A similarity transformation on the original system is proposed which yields a better decomposition of the matched and mismatched parts and/or a less conservative bound on the mismatched perturbation. The proposed method can be applied to both zero as well as nonzero set point control. A simple example is presented to illustrate the proposed methodology.
