  • Abstract
    Certain numerical approach to the problem of solidification of binary alloys is considered. The mathematical model which consists of two partial differential equations is reformulated into the form of one ordinary differential equation in a space of generalized functions. The possibility of constructing the corresponding numerical algorithm is discussed and some results pointed out.
