Abstract :
This paper describes a new dual-rate sampling multivariable self-tuning regulator that specifically handles the situation where the computations of multivariable self-tuning regulator fail to be performed within a single sampling period. For fast responding systems the algorithm proposed here ensures better performance and requires fewer computations in comparison with the single-rate sampling self-tuning regulator.
