Abstract :
State estimation for two-dimensional (2-D) discrete-time systems is considered. Results for both the Givone-Roesser local state model and the Porter-Aravena wave advance process model are established. The analysis avoids the assumption of stationarity of the system and separability of the characteristic polynomial.
