Abstract
To this time, published descriptions of the application of the Bass form of Lyapunov function gradient generated robust control have presented the details of a control synthesis procedure which includes the finding of a nominal stabilizing control and implementing it along with the robust control law it generates. In the present treatment, one class of unstable plants for which the implementation of the nominal stabilizing control law is not needed is described, and the conditions for stability are proven.
