Abstract
In this paper, the possible time invariant system equivalents to periodic ones, either in continuous-time or discretized form are considered. First, the well known Floquet-Lyapunov theorem and his application is summarized. The relation between continuos-time and discretized models allow us to propose an algorithm for the computation of time-invariant equivalents to any linear continuous time periodic system. For discretized systems, a new approach is presented. Although the final equivalent system is overdimensioned, their suitability for multirate sampled-data systems is clear, as shown in the last paragraph.
