Abstract :
We present a solution to the simultaneous stabilization problem which merges two tools: the Q-parameterization of all stabilizing compensators and Kharitonov-like approximations to the Hurwitz region. Using these techniques we show that simultaneous stabilization problems can be attacked using linear programming methods.
