Abstract :
The paper describes the problems concerning computer state estimation and optimal control of continuous fermentation processes. At the beginning the mathematical model of continuous fermentation proceses are investigated. Then the model linearisation and discretization are studied. Finally the adaptive estimation of unmeasurable states by extended Kalman filter and optimal control of considered processes are discussed.
