Abstract :
A two degree of freedom vehicle model is analyzed for its suspension performance sensitivity as a function of the system´s feedback gains. Both frequency response and RMS response of the performance variables are considered. Frequency response and RMS performance surfaces are formed to examine output senstivity to suspension feedback. The advantages of active damping are discussed.
