Abstract :
The successful performance of computer controlled systems depends greately on both the electromechanical design and control system design. This paper is concerned with controller designs that force a system to behave in a desirable fashion despite large parameter variations and unpredictable disturbances. The design of such controllers has been of great concern for years. Recently, The Time Delay Control (TDC) has been suggested as an alternative approach to current algorithms. In this paper, this algorithm is first extended to systems where the plant dynamics, including the control distribution matrix are unknown. The extended algorithm is them evaluated through several simulations.
