Abstract :
A new theorem is presented which gives sufficient conditions for the robust stability of linear systems controlled via metamorphic dual control (MDC) without requiring that the system be open-loop stable. The theorem can be used to tune the MDC controller if bounds on the relative model error are known. An example demonstrates the utility of the theorem.
