Abstract
This paper describes and demonstrates a novel control system design technique, called stochastic DAC, that combines the fundamentals of stochastic control and optimal state estimation with the established concepts of Disturbance Accommodating Control (DAC). The resulting design methodology is an extremely powerful tool that will be a valuable resource for practicing control design engineers who are seeking "better" ways to deal with practical uncertainties.
