Abstract :
In order to speed up the fuzzy inference processes in fuzzy logic controllers. a systolic array that performs the compositional rule of inference is designed. If one processing element in the array malfunctions, the inferred output could be changed drastically. In this paper, detecting and correcting faults at the bit-slice level of a single-input single-output fuzzy systolic arrays is discussed.
