Abstract :
A new statistical methodology is proposed to analyze feedback controllers for certain time domain robustness properties. This analysis technique uses bounds on the covariance matrix of the inputs, outputs, and state variables. An example for the robust control of a nonlinear chemical reactor is presented to demonstrate the advantages of the new analysis techniques.
