Abstract :
In this paper we consider the problem of computing a controller that is optimally robust with respect to gap ball uncertainty of a nominal infinite dimensional plant. We outline a technique that allows the computation of the optimal robustness radius and the corresponding controller. We apply this theory to a first order delay system.
