Abstract :
This paper presents an identification-based matched filtering method for detection of fault in dynamic systems. The method essentially consists of two steps; namely, generation of residual signals using a system identification technique and processing of the residual signals through matched filters. The performance of the proposed method is compared against other known fault detection techniques.
