Abstract :
LINKman is a real-time rule-based expert system, proven in on-line closed-loop supervisory control of "difficult" processes. Extraordinary cost-effective, LINKman payback periods are usually less than three months. Added benefits include improved yield, quality, consistency and emission control. This brief paper describes the LINKman system, and some of the installed applications in the cement, oil and glass industries.
