Abstract :
Most active noise control systems reported in the recent literature are based on adaptive signal processing approaches. From a control systems viewpoint, these systems can also be described as adaptive feed forward controllers. A more general controller that includes both feed forward and feedback components is proposed. This paper focuses specifically on the direct feedback component of the proposed controller. The simulation and implementation of a direct feedback controller is described.
