Abstract :
An iterative method for pole assignment with a constant feedback matrix is developed in the paper. The coefficients. of open loop and closed loop characteristic polynomials are related with a function of feedback matrix. In every iterative steps, the nonlinear part is neglected. The convergence of the algorithm is discussed.
