Abstract :
This paper describes an ongoing interdisciplinary course at West Virginia University in which a team of senior undergraduate students design and build a fully-functional industrial robot. The project is a collaboration between students in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), and the department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE). The course structure and three of the projects undertaken to date are described in this paper.
