Abstract :
This paper investigates the problems of reachability, controllability and observability for time-varying discrete descriptor systems of the form E(t+1) x(t+1) = A(t)Ã(t) + B(t)u(t), y(t) = C(t)Ã(t), where E(t+1) may be singular. Some conditions for the reachability, controllability and observability are obtained respectively. The results obtained here are essentially important in controlling such systems [1,2].
