Abstract :
Interval type parametric uncertainty has received little attention in the design procedures developed for robust detection filters. This paper focuses on increasing the robustness of a classically designed detection filter ¿ one designed for uni-directionality of the output error residual ¿ by exploiting differences in the transmission to the output error residual from the fault event and the system inputs.
