Abstract :
In this paper we consider a particular stability robustness problem for linear systems subject to timevarying bounded uncertainty: given a system whose nominal system matrix is Hurwitz for "frozen" values of the parameters within their range of variation, find explicit bounds on the maximal rate of time variation of the parameters and the maximal admissible amplitude of the perturbation guaranteeing system stability.
