Abstract
Increased interest in applications and utilization of microprocessors in many industrial products combined with the benefits of process automation and automated manufacturing systems dictate the need for control engineers having good understanding of such fundamentals as modeling and system dynamics microprocessor-based control design, and feedback control theory. This paper presents an overview of our undergraduate and graduate curriculum in systems and control. The emphasis is on the utlization of microprocessors in control system designs.
