Abstract
Systems involving multiple agents, especially human-in-the-loop situations; and physically large, with hundreds of available sensory information are prime candidates for application of intelligent control techniques. This paper considers two cases: control of occupant comfort in large buildings; and automatic generation control (AGC) in an electric power plant. Approaches to these problems and some of the results are presented.
